About the role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to join the Destinology team and take ownership of our day-to-day marketing activity. This is a varied role combining creative campaign development, marketing planning, people management and performance analysis. You’ll be responsible for turning our wider marketing strategy into well-planned, engaging activity that delivers measurable commercial results. You’ll take ownership of the marketing plan, manage campaign delivery across channels and lead the Marketing team in bringing activity to life. Just as importantly, you’ll keep a close eye on performance – understanding what is driving leads and bookings, spotting when performance dips and knowing what levers to pull to respond. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of marketing and who is comfortable moving between developing a campaign concept, managing a team, reviewing the numbers and deciding what needs to happen next.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and manage the day-to-day marketing plan and campaign calendar.

• Develop and deliver creative, integrated marketing campaigns across channels including email, digital, social, direct mail and website.

• Set campaign objectives, ensure activity is correctly tracked and analyse performance.

• Monitor leads, bookings, conversion, revenue and margin to understand the commercial impact of marketing.

• Identify when performance is changing and proactively recommend or implement actions to improve results.

• Develop reactive marketing activity when opportunities or performance require it.

• Manage and delegate work across the Marketing team, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.

• Coach, support and develop the Marketing team, creating clear ownership and accountability.

• Work closely with Sales and Product teams to align marketing activity with commercial priorities.

• Use customer insight and performance data to continually improve campaigns and marketing effectiveness.

About you

You’ll be a confident marketer with experience managing campaigns and ideally people. You’ll be equally comfortable discussing creative ideas and campaign concepts as you are analysing performance data and commercial results.

• Commercially minded – you understand how marketing translates into leads, bookings and revenue.

• Creative – you can develop compelling campaigns and propositions.

• Analytical – you enjoy understanding the numbers and turning insight into action.

• Accountable – you take ownership and make sure plans get delivered.

• Proactive – you spot opportunities and don’t wait to be told what to do.

• Reactive – you’re comfortable adapting plans when performance or priorities change.

• Organised – you can manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and priorities.

• A people leader – you can delegate effectively, support your team and create accountability.

• Hands-on – you’re happy to get involved and make things happen.

Why Destinology?

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious luxury travel business where marketing has a direct and measurable role in driving growth. You’ll have the opportunity to shape campaigns, influence how we market the business, develop a talented team and use data and creativity together to deliver meaningful commercial results.
