BLADE REPAIR TECHNICIAN

LEVEL 2- 3 ROPE ACCESS

Aurora Energy Services is building a team of elite Level 3 Blade Repair Technicians for a growing portfolio of wind energy projects across North America. COMPENSATION : Dependent On Experience

  • Overtime available
  • Daily per diem
  • Paid travel days
  • Guaranteed bench rate

SCHEDULE

  • Rotation: 6 weeks on / 1 week off
  • Hours: 50–60/week average
  • Year-round work with extended campaigns
  • Priority placement for returning technicians

REQUIREMENTS

  •  Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • GWO BST — current in WINDA
  • GWO BTT — electrical, hydraulic, mechanical
  • IRATA or SPRAT — current
  • OSHA 10 General Industry
  • SGRE Blade C or D certificate
  • GE NAM Blade LOTO certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ready to mobilize immediately

  

PREFERRED 

  • 5+ years composite blade repair experience
  • Epoxy/polyester resins, wet lay-up, vacuum bag techniques
  • Balsa and foam core materials
  • Fiberglass reinforcement and structural repair
  • Technical drawing interpretation
  • 360-degree and 2M basket platform experience
  • Able to climb 300 feet, lift 75 lbs, work in extreme conditions
  • Clean MVR required
