Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our engineering team in North East Lincolnshire. This permanent, full-time position is essential for the fabrication and assembly of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and efficiency in our production processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation in engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
  • Operate various sheet metal machinery, including shears, brakes, and relevant welding equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar fabrication role.
  • Proficiency with common metal fabrication techniques, tools, and relevant safety equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in metalworking or engineering are advantageous.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
