New Zealand’s general election on Saturday 14 October 2023 saw a significant transition of political power. After six years of a Labour-led government, National took the win with 39% of the party vote. While the negotiations are still to be conducted, it’s expected that they will form a coalition with the ACT party and, potentially, New Zealand First.
This is a big change for New Zealand and one that is sure to have an impact on businesses across the country. We’ve created a factsheet that summarises everything you need to know.
The factsheet covers:
- What the current business landscape looks like
- What have National and ACT promised for businesses?
- What will happen to the legislation that is still in the works
