Summary: We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations in Brisbane. This onsite role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management, playing a crucial role in driving financial success and strategic growth within our organisation. Responsibilities: – Lead the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting. – Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. – Manage cash flow and working capital to optimise financial performance. – Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management processes. – Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies. – Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. – Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making. – Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred. – A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. – Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. – Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel. – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. – Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
