Foal Watch Attendant

Westbury Stud is looking for dedicated individuals to fill a few night shift positions for the upcoming foaling season.

Shift Details

Shifts Available: 4 PM to Midnight or Midnight to 8 AM.

Season Duration: Beginning of August to End of November

Shift Frequency: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities

Monitor mares close to foaling across multiple paddocks.

Assist with foalings and emergencies.

Provide post-foaling care for mares and foals, including administering medications and IV fluids.

Maintain cleanliness of stables and ensure hay and water are adequately filled.

Prepare and distribute feed for stabled horses.

Move mares and assist with feeding duties.

Role Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role; be prepared to stay engaged throughout your shift.

Previous experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Ideal for those looking to learn new skills in equine care.
