Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our team in Levin, Manawatu. This permanent, full-time role is pivotal in delivering innovative kitchen designs that meet our clients’ needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces, contributing to our reputation for excellence in the design industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design requirements and preferences.
  • Create detailed kitchen layouts and designs using CAD software.
  • Select materials, finishes, and appliances that align with client budgets and design concepts.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards in all designs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous kitchen design projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in interior design or a related field are preferred.
