Join our Communications Team at Raukawa and help tell the stories of our people, our kaupapa, and the mahi we do on behalf of our iwi. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, engaging
content across print, digital and social platforms. It’s a wide-ranging role that will allow you to explore your creative and story tellings skills with the support of a talented and creative team.
The Role:
- Create high-quality written and multimedia content (articles, social media, video, audio)
- Lead and coordinate print publications (e.g. iwi newsletter, key reports, brochures)
- Support media engagement and enquiries
- Deliver content aligned to our Social Media and Communications Plans
- Work with internal teams to produce clear, engaging content for their needs
- Contribute as on-screen or voice talent where required
- Support special projects and wider team outputs
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Reo Māori, Communications or Public Relations, Print Management or relevant equivalent skills
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling ability
- Creative thinker with a practical, ‘get it done’ approach
- Confident across digital, social and print content
- Good understanding of current social media trends
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Able to build relationships and work across teams
- Comfortable working in both English and Te Reo Māori (high reo proficiency required)
- Understanding of tikanga and Raukawatanga
