Floriditas is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team.

As Wellington’s grand café, Floriditas has spent over 20 years building a reputation for warm hospitality, seasonal food, and a calm, professional kitchen environment. We believe hospitality is a real career, and we take pride in supporting our team to learn, grow, and enjoy the work we do.

This is a full time role of approximately 32 + hours per week, working across a mix of shifts.

The Role

You will play an important part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and supporting the chefs during service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
• Receiving and organising deliveries
• Keeping workspaces tidy, stocked, and well organised
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy services

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Has a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Can stay calm and organised in a busy environment
• Takes pride in cleanliness and doing things properly
• Has kitchen experience (helpful but not essential)
