Description

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our growing team in Auckland.

This role is responsible for supporting and managing the end-to-end operational process from supplier orders and international shipments through to warehouse management and final dispatch to customers.

You’ll work across multiple parts of the business including supplier coordination, inbound shipping, warehouse operations, and outbound logistics. The role is hands-on at times but also requires strong organisational skills to manage the operational flow of goods.

You’ll be joining a small, fast-growing team, where your work directly contributes to the success of the business. We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in organisation, and wants to help ensure operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

Hours are flexible, however full working days will be required during inbound container deliveries (typically once per month).

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Order Coordination

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to organise international shipments
  • Ensure shipping documentation and supplier paperwork is accurate and complete
  • Track incoming shipments and maintain visibility over delivery timelines

Inbound Logistics

  • Coordinate and manage inbound container arrivals
  • Devanning containers and checking stock against packing lists
  • Inspect goods for accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Accurately receipting stock into inventory systems

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Organise and maintain warehouse layout for efficiency and safety
  • Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock checks
  • Maintain clear, accurate inventory records
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well organised

Outbound & Freight

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
  • Book freight and coordinate outbound deliveries
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or stock management preferred
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple operational tasks simultaneously
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting when required
  • Forklift licence advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a growing New Zealand business with ambitious plans for expansion
  • Enjoy a varied, hands-on role with real responsibility and ownership
  • Develop real-world experience across warehousing, logistics, and international supply chains
  • Flexible part-time working structure to support work–life balance
  • Support for certifications and training, including forklift licences or logistics-related development
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-time role with progression as the company continues to expand
