This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-growth and high-potential wine-tourism business in one of the world’s most iconic visitor destinations. The new CEO will shape the next phase of our brand, culture, and commercial performance— building a legacy business that defines premium wine tourism in New Zealand.

We are seeking a commercially astute and sales focussed CEO to lead the next cycle of our growth strategy. The business is performing well, and there are clear opportunities to scale revenue, strengthen brand positioning, expand strategic partnerships, and further develop our high-performance, values based culture.

The CEO will execute this next stage of growth, driving performance and enterprise value over the next 3 years.

Your key priorities will be to:

  1. Execute a clear revenue-growth roadmap
  2. Elevate brand presence and premium positioning
  3. Strengthen the direct-to consumer sales process to increase wine sales revenue.
  4. Improve operating efficiencies and margin discipline
  5. Develop internal leadership capability and succession depth
  6. Develop a capital expenditure and funding plan for key projects

This is a hands-on strategic leadership role requiring sales execution, commercial acumen, brand instinct, cultural leadership, and operational excellence. You will bring the following experience and capabilities to the role:

  • Senior executive, GM or CEO experience in a commercial, sales focussed field
  • Track record of leading through significant growth phases
  • Strong commercial and financial capability
  • Experience reporting to a Board
  • Brand-awareness and customer-focus
  • Strong communicator, natural relationship builder and people developer
  • Inspiring, visible and values-driven
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, seasonal, entrepreneurial tourism environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with governance discipline.
  • Passion for wine, hospitality, and premium tourism experiences
