Based in vibrant New Plymouth, Green Meadows Beef was established in 2012 as a paddock-to-plate beef business selling meat packs online, with the dream to take grass-fed Angus beef straight into the mouths of New Zealand families. Now we not only produce beef, but also lamb, pork and venison products for sale both nationally and internationally.
Due to an internal promotion, we require a Mincer Process Worker to come on board now at our production facility in Waiwhakaiho.
The role will be Monday – Friday from 5:30am – 2:00pm.
You will be working within a production team making product mixes and assisting with small goods production.
Your day will include:
- weighing and mincing products
- assisting with general butchery tasks
- making small goods (sausages, burgers, meatballs and koftas
This is a physical job working in rotation with another team member and following established recipes and processes.
Our ideal person will be experienced working in a fast paced and high-pressure work environment, along with:
- Having experience working with fresh food (not essential)
- Being capable of lifting up to 20kg
- Having an eye for detail and a quality focus
- Having strong written and numerical skills
- The ability to work in a temperature regulated environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Having the ability to build rapport with your co-workers and have a bit of fun!
