Greenscape Maintenance Operator – Waikato

We are looking for a motivated Greenscape Maintenance Operator to join our Waikato based team.

About the role

You will be part of a team maintaining our clients’ green spaces.

Tasks will be varied and will include:

• Weed eating,
• Spraying and scrub cutting,
• Operating a ride on mower (if qualified to do so or eager to learn),
• Cleaning of gear and equipment including vehicle fleet after use

Hours of work will be 40 hours per week between 7.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday with overtime when required.

About you

The successful person will have:

• Relevant experience in one or more of weed-eating, mowing, gardening or section clearing,
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence essential and ability to drive a manual vehicle
• Knowledge of how to operate Vegetation control equipment,
• Be physically fit and mobile, able to do physical work,
• Have a commitment to health and safety,
• Growsafe Certificate would be an advantage.
