Clinical Manager

Summary:

The Clinical Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in our Waikanae facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is pivotal in coordinating clinical operations, managing staff, and enhancing patient care, thereby contributing to the overall success of our medical and nursing services in New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise clinical staff, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, making necessary adjustments to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining accreditation requirements.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to staff on clinical best practices and new technologies.
• Act as a liaison between management, staff, and patients to address concerns and improve service quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate in New Zealand.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Proficient in clinical management software and electronic health records.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
