We exist to be a strategic extension of sea-to-land business for our shipping lines clients – who rely on us to do all the heavy lifting, so they can focus on what they do best. We are seeking an exceptional Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Tauranga.
The Opportunity
ContainerCo has an opportunity to service our client’s refrigeration containers in Tauranga. This is an exciting chance to join the Tauranga depot and work as part of the wider National ContainerCool team. You will need to have a flexible approach to your work to accommodate the hours of work associated with the business. We are looking for people who have high levels of integrity and excellent communication that can be adaptable to deliver for our customers.
What you’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience diagnosing, checking and repairing refrigeration systems and refrigerated containers.
- Electrical Licence or Limited Electrical Licence (preferred).
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Trade (Level 4) (preferred).
- The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.

- Partake in the weekly call out roster as required and receive $500.00 gross for the period. 1.5 times ordinary rate for time worked on call outs.
- $18.00 per week gross tool allowance.
- $1.25 gross per hour for EST qualification.
- Paid birthday leave.

- Full-time, permanent position – Minimum 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, plus rostered call out work as required.
- Pay rate: $40.00 minimum and $45.00 maximum per hour dependent on skills and experience
