About Us
Complex Staffing Solutions (CSS) provides trained and professional support workers to cover placements within services that support people with an intellectual disability, high and complex behavior needs, mental health and youth services. We currently have over 50 Support Workers team.
About You – Who is an appropriate applicant?
We are looking for people from all walks of life with a can-do attitude, who can work with young adults as part of a productive support team. You will follow individual plans and understand the importance of consistency in assisting people to achieve a great life. We are looking for people who have:
- Patient, resilient, flexible
- Good social skills and ability to relate well to others
- The ability to work with people who present with challenging behaviours
- Commitment to professional development
- An ability to work actively as part of a team and individually to ensure service quality
- Good English language ability (written and spoken)
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- A current full driver’s licence or working towards it.
- NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (level 2 to 4) or equivalent is preferred but this is not mandatory
Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminal records/police checks – you must declare any convictions and/or pending charges on your application form. This will include checks under the Childrens Act 2014 and may include CYRAS vetting via Oranga Tamariki for some roles

COVID-19 considerations:
For Health and Safety of both staff and people we support and all CSS staff are recommended to be fully vaccinated for Covid – 19 but not mendatory.
Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Christchurch before starting work (Preferred)
