With a successful rapidly growing online presence, backed by a Hastings-based showroom, we are on the hunt for a driven sales star to join our Turfrey Store team. This role has a heavy focus on customer service with a mix of in-store and phone-based sales – you will bring a strong retail background and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions.

What you will need to ensure success and enjoyment in this role:
- Proven sales success!
- The natural ability to form strong relationships with clients from a range of different backgrounds, ensuring stand-out customer care at all times
- A strong affinity with e-commerce would be a huge benefit (in particular experience of working with Shopify and MYOB)
- The ability to back up your sales power with utilising online systems and processes to ensure an excellent customer experience
- A desire to step beyond the straight-forward sales and work on developing and growing supplier relationships, new product ranges and supply channels
- A willingness to get stuck into all aspects of this successful sales team where needed – including online product management, dispatch and marketing tasks
- Initiative and a natural ability to problem solve with creativity and an entrepreneurial flair

The larger side of the group is the Trades and Services where we employ more than 150 full-time staff across the North Island, providing a range of specialist trade services to mostly commercial clients for Plumbing, Gas, Roofing, Heating, Drainage and Insulated Panel.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week), largely Monday-Friday, some Saturday hours may be required.
