We’re seeking an experienced and capable Team Leader to provide strong leadership across our refuge for victim-survivors of family and domestic violence.

We are looking for a leader with proven experience working within the family and domestic violence sector, who understands the complexities of supporting victim-survivors and can guide teams to deliver safe, effective, trauma-informed services. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until December 2027, located in Perth Metro (South Eastern).

About the role

Team Leader – Accommodation Services oversees the day-to-day operations of our 24/7 refuge and transitional accommodation services.

This position is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

• Lead and mentor to foster a positive, inclusive team culture

• Ensure programs and case management processes align with our innovative therapeutic framework, delivering the highest standards of quality, care and client outcomes

• Support staff in complex casework and crisis situations with empathy and confidence

• Collaborate with other leaders to strengthen teamwork and service delivery across the organisation

• Balance rostering, service needs, and staff wellbeing to create a sustainable impact

• Manage budgets, contracts, and key performance indicators with precision and accountability

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:

1. Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related field

2. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

3. Demonstrated experience in specialist FDV, homelessness, crisis accommodation, AOD, mental health, or other crisis-response/community services environments

4. Experience in financial management, budgeting of programs, and meeting contractual obligations.

5. Strong understanding of appropriate relationship boundaries with clients and other service providers.

6. Complex Case management experience, including developing and reviewing case plans, risk assessment and safety plans in in specialist community services settings.

7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience and passion for providing line management supervision

• Competency in CSNet or similar case management software

The successful candidate will need to possess:

• National Police Clearance

• Working with Children Check

• Valid WA Driver’s Licence with a good driving record
