Your Therapy Place is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic built around genuine care for our clients, our families, and our team.
We’re a collaborative team made up of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Counsellors, Allied Health Assistants, and a dedicated administration team who support the day-to-day scheduling, client communication, and paperwork so clinicians can focus on meaningful clinical work.

About the Role
This is a full-time, in-clinic Speech Pathologist position based in our Rockhampton clinic.
You’ll work with a varied and rewarding caseload, with opportunities to build your clinical interests and shape your role within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
No two days are the same, and we genuinely strive to create roles that feel both fulfilling and sustainable in the long term.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Conducting communication, language, speech, and functional assessments
- Developing individualised therapy plans
- Delivering evidence-based speech pathology interventions
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, schools, support coordinators, and other stakeholders
- Supporting clients to improve communication, participation, confidence, and independence
- Completing clinical documentation and reports
- Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary allied health team
You’ll have the flexibility and support to explore areas of interest and continue developing your skills while feeling connected and supported by the wider team.

Requirements
- Degree qualification in Speech Pathology, or currently completing final year studies with expected graduation at the end of 2026
- SPA membership, or eligibility upon graduation
- Current driver’s licence (ideal but not essential)
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
