He angitūtanga… the opportunity

As a Programme Lead you will be part of an awesome team and lead the delivery of our after school and holiday programmes located in Te Waka Unua School. You will be supervising a small and fantastic team of programme staff who love working with kids, to deliver great programmes! You’ll also be involved in the organising, planning and development of our programmes.

This is a permanent part-time role for 25 hours per week; 1.00pm-6.00pm Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate must be available for additonal hours during school holidays.

We are not babysitters here… we are a dedicated team providing fun, exciting and engaging programmes for young people, empowering them to be the best they can be!

He kōrero mōu… About you

You will have outstanding communication skills, a fantastic “can do” attitude and about 2 years’ experience leading and delivering programmes or activities for children & young people in a similar role, or perhaps experience as a Teacher Aid etc. You will be highly organised, fantastic at the paperwork side of things and have the ability to quickly connect with children and caregivers.

This role requires you to hold a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience (This experience may also be driving experience gained on your Restricted driver’s licence)
