Since 1932, Youthtown has been empowering young people to discover their potential, and now we’re looking for a passionate Outdoors Instructor to help us deliver unforgettable outdoor experiences across Auckland. What you’ll do…
As an Outdoors Instructor, you will deliver high-quality outdoor programmes that inspire and empower Tamariki and Rangatahi. Working with our team, you’ll provide a wide range of activities such as abseiling, rock climbing, archery, bushcraft, EOTC and ABL. You will also lead aquatic adventures including sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and more.
Flexibility is essential, as some sessions may take place in the evenings or on weekends.
What we’re looking for…
You will bring relevant outdoors experience, delivering high-quality outdoors programmes for young people. You’re a confident, engaging facilitator who can safely guide groups through challenging and fun activities, from abseiling and kayaking to bushcraft and team challenges.
You’ll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. Above all, you are committed to empowering young people to discover their potential, embrace challenges, and thrive through adventure.
