YourCoffee is a high quality, accessible contract coffee roasting operation providing solutions for the food service, retail and commercial markets both domestically and internationally.  Working from an established, state of the art facility in Brunswick, YourCoffee is at the forefront of providing specialty contract coffee roasting services with a scalable operation to venture into new product lines, brands and markets.   

 

Overview 

The Warehouse & Production Assistant is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role plays a crucial role in supporting the roasting and production team by coordinating the daily operations for the production team through managing inventory, movement of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse processes, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.  

 

This role requires excellent organisation and communication skills with a collaborative approach, dedicated to delivering improved outcomes for both YourCoffee and delivery/pick-ups. Reporting to Production Supervisor, the Warehouse Coordinator must demonstrate a high degree of organisation and accuracy, with experience managing incoming and outgoing stock. Ability to operate a forklift in areas of limited space and mobility is essential.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining incoming and outgoing logs, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. 
  • Receive orders, transfers, and purchases in system, and ship and close orders and sales as they leave the facility.  
  • Track and monitor Transport Portal and other similar portals, ensuring deliveries and allocated and progressing against customer expectations. 
  • Scan and file paper records for incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation and organization. 
  • Prepare and load stock transfers to designated locations. 
  • Maintain tidiness and organization of pallet racking and pallet area, ensuring all pallets are stacked, wrapped, and labelled correctly. 
  • Conduct weekly stocktakes on designated products and items, ensuring inventory accuracy. 
  • Maintain and clean forklift and scissor lift equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. 
  • Support the Production team with fulfilment, picking & packing and ecommerce. 
  • Assisting the production team with production and assembly line work as necessary 

 

Requirements  

  • Proficiency in utilizing a range of internal ERPs, Microsoft Excel, and other software systems. 
  • Previous experience in warehousing and logistics. 
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Driver’s license. 
  • Forklift license.
