We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic Chef to work on our luxury super yacht, YOT Vice, alongside our exceptional team.
This isn’t an ordinary Chef role! Each shift is unique and memorable as your main purpose is preparing and delivering beautiful food whilst connecting with the Front of House Team along the Brisbane River
Your day looks a little like this:
- Arrive before charter with produce already managed, ready for you to prep, and your fresh uniform waiting for you
- Attention to detail is crucial in this role, from prepping to packing up and everything in between, so your ability to take direction and have the initiative to execute the charter as per the chef’s brief is very important!
- During the charter you will ensure that customer dietary requirements such as food allergies, intolerances are communicated clearly to the service team whilst adhering to food safety policies
- Sometimes these charters get quite busy, so the ability to work under pressure with an outgoing and helpful attitude is a must, whilst ensuring consistency in food handling and presentation.
- At the end of the charter, you are expected to take care with wastage and stock control, communicate with the Exec Chef with any feed back and discrepancies and ensure the kitchen and storeroom are left in a clean and safe condition
- No late nights or crazy early starts, so you can live your life and spend your time with family and friends!

- This is a casual position ranging from 20-60 hours per week that will require flexibility and weekend work, with the potential of moving into a permanent role within your first month. Immediate start preferable.
