About this role:

The Electrical Supervisor role is focused on ensuring that the site complies with health, safety, environment, and quality regulations related to construction sites and Power Crew. Achieved by promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and following directives of the Electrical Manager on our civil construction sites.

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing reliable feedback to the Electrical Manager and delegating responsibility to supervised staff members to ensure that target deadlines set by the Electrical Manager are met.

What your day will look like:

  • Responsible for creating and implementing a project plan, which includes scheduling work, allocating resources, and establishing quality control procedures.
  • Filling out required paperwork to record quality assurance data as required.
  • Communicate effectively between the Project Manager / Site Supervisor and Electricians / plant operators/ labourers to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Maintain an approachable friendly manner that encourages employees to become creative and display initiative.
  • To delegate effectively to ensure that that all electrical work under their control functions with maximum efficiency.
  • Lead teams to perform required services; responsible for managing the Power Crew, including hiring, training, and supervising workers. This includes delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Provide clear work instructions to ensure production is achieved and meets quality requirements.

About you:

  • A current and valid Western Australia Drivers Licence.
  • A Current and Valid White Card / Construction Card.
  • Must hold a Western Power Cable Layers Ticket.
  • Ability to plan and resource manning requirements.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills including confident stakeholder engagement capacity.
  • Highly experienced Microsoft Office skills – particularly with Excel.
