We are seeking dedicated Care Professionals (Qualified Support Workers) to join our team of support staff in the Northern Gold Coast region.

This role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in our community, making a positive impact on the lives of those you support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor and report on clients’ health and well-being, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Encourage and support clients in engaging with social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in social care. Nursing students encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient approach to care.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
