Shop Assistant

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The position is for 9.75 hours per week, worked on Sundays and Mondays. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organised store, and assisting with daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with their shopping needs
• Maintain a clean and organised store environment
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
• Process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Assist with merchandising and product displays
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Experience:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
