Business Development Manager – Veterinary Market

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to focus on the veterinary market. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the growth of our Wallace Medical (Biolink) business by leveraging product knowledge to build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers, increase sales, and identify new market opportunities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise and build relationships with key contacts across various industries.

2. Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships while also developing new ones.

3. Drive revenue growth by increasing sales volume of products in existing markets.

4. Identify new markets and customers, actively pursuing them to enhance market penetration and share.

5. Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines.

6. Diligently record client interactions using the company’s CRM tool.

7. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and gather insights for the team’s benefit.

8. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies.

9. Collaborate with the broader team for reporting purposes as well as future planning initiatives.

10.Participate in industry events as required.
