Description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes. The Machinery Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies
  • Monitor machinery during operation to ensure that it is functioning properly and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure that it is in good working order
  • Maintain accurate records of machinery operation and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Company Overview

Our properties are an 8 min drive (9km) North-West of Moree, NSW. We have 280,000 drip irrigated citrus trees, last year we harvested 5,000 tonnes of barley and 11,000 bales of irrigated cotton were picked off the bush. Our citrus is harvested 9 months of the year for juicing and goes to our other business grovejuice.com.au who supplies our own brands as well as the four major supermarkets and export market in South-East Asia. We take an active position in the industry via industry-based associations, not-for-profit work, local sponsorships and talking to our mates over a few beers at the pub.
