Description

At Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility (VVMF), we’re a growing viral vector CDMO partnering with innovators to turn breakthrough science into real therapies. We’re building something special and we’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our Production Team.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end GMP viral vector manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, compliance and on schedule delivery.
  • Plan campaigns, allocate resources and optimise production delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, contemporaneous and audit ready.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of Team Leads and Scientists.
  • Drive GMP excellence across deviations, CAPAs, change control and validation.
  • Act as Production SME for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Partner cross functionally to deliver technology transfer and new program readiness.
  • Lead production readiness for new processes, facility expansion and scale up.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance (schedule, yield, right first time).

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading GMP manufacturing teams (pharma, biologics, viral vectors, cell and gene therapy, vaccines or sterile).
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, aseptic processing, cleanroom operations, and data integrity.
  • Proven capability in production planning, execution and problem solving.
  • Experience with GMP documentation (batch records, SOPs, validation, CAPAs, change control).
  • Exposure to technology transfer, scale up or new product introduction.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.
  • Flexibility to work early starts, afternoons, evenings, or weekends when production calls for it.
