We’re looking for a talented and proactive Part-Time Recruiter to help us attract and hire great people for our veterinary clinic.
As we continue to grow, we need someone who understands the importance of finding not just the right skills, but the right people and personalities to contribute to a positive, compassionate, and high-performing clinic environment.
About the Role
Working closely with clinic management, you’ll take ownership of the recruitment process across a range of veterinary and support roles, including veterinarians, veterinary nurses, receptionists, and animal care team members.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys working independently and is looking for flexible, part-time hours with the ability to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment from job advertising through to offer and onboarding
- Develop and post engaging job advertisements across relevant platforms
- Source and proactively approach potential candidates
- Screen applications and conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate interviews with clinic management
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies
- Build relationships with veterinary professionals and support staff
- Provide recruitment advice and market insights to clinic leadership
- Help strengthen our employer brand and candidate experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and follow appropriate employment processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR
- Is confident sourcing and engaging candidates
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Is organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Can assess candidates for both skills and cultural fit
- Ideally has experience recruiting within veterinary, healthcare, medical, or other professional services
- Has a genuine interest in helping build great teams
