About the opportunity
Unison Solar Energy is building its capabilities in Australian solar manufacturing and is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our growing manufacturing operations.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate management of materials, inventory and logistics. The role provides leadership, direction and support to the warehouse team, with a focus on developing capability and fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

Warehouse Operations: Lead receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
Inventory & Logistics: Manage inventory, material flow and logistics partners to ensure accurate and reliable service delivery.
Team & Improvement: Lead and develop the warehouse team while driving improvements in safety, processes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packing and dispatch, to safely and efficiently support business and project requirements.
- Lead, develop and support the warehouse team, setting clear expectations, allocating resources and fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor warehouse capacity, space utilisation and inventory performance, using data to improve efficiency, reduce waste and control costs.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective warehouse processes, procedures, workflows and work instructions, driving continuous improvement across operations.
- Support the implementation of warehouse systems and process improvements while coordinating equipment maintenance
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, including supporting incident investigations, risk assessments, toolbox meetings and safety documentation.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse management or a similar operational environment.
- Current forklift licence and practical experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate warehouse teams.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics processes.
- Effective planning, organisational and commercial skills, with the ability to manage resources, costs and competing operational priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and maintaining high operational standards.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to adapt to a growing and changing manufacturing environment.
