Join our team as a Casual Disability Support Worker in Mackay. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Monitor and report on clients’ progress and any changes in their needs or circumstances.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.

Qualifications:

• Empathy and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (or a letter of enrolment).
• NDIS Worker Screening Card.
• Blue Card.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Drivers Licence.
• Comprehensive Car Insurance.
• COVID-19 Digital Certificate (desirable but not mandatory).
• NDIS Induction Modules (four free online certificate modules to obtain from the NDIS Commission).
• Infection Prevention & Control Certificate (free online certificate to obtain).
