Retail Operations Support & Supervisor – Perth

The Retail Operations Support & Supervisor plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Perth retail business.

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in computers and technology, enjoys helping customers, and has experience working in a retail environment.

Previous computer, IT hardware or technology sales experience is highly preferred.

This position combines retail operations, staff supervision, customer service, stock management and sales support. The successful candidate will help improve store performance, support the team and ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily retail operations and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
• Support, guide and train retail staff to improve team performance.
• Assist customers with computer hardware, components, accessories and technology-related enquiries.
• Support the sales team in providing suitable product recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams.
• Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and merchandising.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues professionally and efficiently.
• Work with management to improve store processes and operational efficiency.
• Help ensure customers receive accurate, helpful and knowledgeable service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is proactive, responsible and comfortable working in a fast-paced technology retail environment.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous retail sales, retail operations or supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of computers, PC hardware and technology products.
• Previous computer sales, IT retail or consumer electronics sales experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with products such as PCs, laptops, CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, memory, storage, monitors, networking products and computer accessories will be highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Good leadership skills and the ability to support and guide other team members.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to analyse sales information and make practical operational decisions.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and retail/POS systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required.
