Assistant Accountant

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team. This entry level role is ideal for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial administration. You will play a key role in supporting the day to day financial operations of Trilogy’s managed investments schemes and corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assistance in the day-to-day financial administration of Trilogy’s managed investment schemes
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Bank reconciliation preparation
• Conducting monthly unit reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly Activity Statements and other ATO lodgements
• Maintenance of cashflow forecasts and ongoing monitoring of finance covenants
• Preparation of monthly board papers
• Attending to treasury and finance reporting requirements
• Assisting with the preparation of annual and half year financial reports and audit requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
