Project Manager – Alice Springs

From planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover, successful project delivery takes more than technical expertise.

TVH is seeking an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Project Manager to take ownership of HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical services projects based in Alice Springs.

Reporting to the General Manager – Northern Territory, you’ll balance technical requirements, commercial performance and people leadership to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Working closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams, you’ll oversee the full project lifecycle, keeping projects on track, resolving challenges and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical services projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating project schedules, procurement activities and resources, including subcontractors, suppliers and site-based teams.
• Managing project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning and project close-out activities.
• Managing project documentation, reporting and contractual requirements.
• Leading project teams to achieve safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial HVAC, refrigeration or mechanical services projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting, procurement and contract administration.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Relevant HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services, engineering or project management qualifications, or an equivalent trade background.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded

• Experience delivering commercial, industrial, government or infrastructure projects.
• Trade qualifications in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and/or formal Mechanical Engineering or Project Management qualifications.
• Experience with large-scale HVAC systems, commercial refrigeration, BMS and controls.
