Mon–Fri 8:30am–10:00pm|  Sat–Sun 9:00am–5:00pm

The Opportunity

We are seeking a warm, organised, and experienced full-time Administration / Receptionist to be the face of our Norwood clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients — in person and by phone — while supporting our dedicated team of GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals.

 

What You’ll Do

  • •Greet patients and manage check-in / check-out processes efficiently and warmly
  • •Handle a high volume of inbound calls, appointment scheduling, and recall management
  • •Manage billing including Medicare, DVA, and private accounts
  • •Maintain accurate patient records using Best Practice software
  • •Process referrals, results, and correspondence for GPs and allied health providers
  • •Liaise with on-site Clinpath Pathology and radiology services
  • •Assist with opening and closing procedures and general clinic administration
  • •Support the Practice Manager and colleagues with day-to-day tasks

 

What We’re Looking For

  • •Previous medical reception or general practice administration experience — highly regarded
  • •Confidence with Best Practice software (experience preferred)
  • •Strong understanding of Medicare billing, DVA, and HCC concessions
  • •Exceptional interpersonal skills and genuine compassion for patients
  • •Ability to multitask calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • •High accuracy, attention to detail, and professional discretion
  • •Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
  • •Fluency in a second language is an advantage — we serve a multicultural community
