Mortgage Broker 6/10/23

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing clients, internal staff and business partners. You will be responsible for evaluating client information, finding the right lending solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in business development by establishing rapport with new and existing referral partners to generate leads.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and referral partners
• Act as a liaison between our support team, clients, lenders, and referral partners
• Provide timely updates to all business partners in accordance with current processes
• Return all enquiry calls within one business day
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their requirements and objectives
• Follow established business processes to request necessary documentation from clients
• Evaluate client-provided information and collaborate with lenders to find suitable solutions
• Ensure client privacy and maintain security of files at all times
• Ensure that all client files are fully completed in compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Develop rapport with new and existing referral partners to establish a strong network
• Educate referral partners on identifying opportunities for lead generation

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Diploma in Finance or Mortgage Broking

• Two years’ experience writing loans
• Extensive knowledge of lending practices
• Excellent customer service skills both face-to-face, over email and on the phone
• Ability handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability handle stressful situations calmly
• Effective oral written communication skills
• Excellent record management skills

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position based out of our office in Spring Hill, Brisbane. The working hours are standard full-time hours. There may be a need to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel to other locations occasionally.
