Designer (Intermediate)

Summary:

We are seeking an Intermediate Designer to join our dynamic team in Henderson, Auckland. This role is pivotal in enhancing our manufacturing and production processes through innovative design solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of products that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, ensuring our offerings remain competitive in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and develop design solutions for manufacturing projects.
• Create detailed design specifications and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Review and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate design concepts and project progress.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a design role within the manufacturing or production industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
