We are seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Perth WA. In this role, you will provide expert therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans. This position is ideal for experienced professionals looking to make a significant impact in the health sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior therapists and support staff.
  • Educate clients and their families about therapeutic processes and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a health and safety context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in assessment and treatment planning.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
