Description

The Centre for Women & Co. is seeking an organised, adaptable and proactive Intake Administration Support Worker to join our collaborative Intake Team.

The Intake Administration Support Worker provides high-quality administrative support to the Intake Team and Intake Team Leader, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of intake services.

The role supports client referral and intake processes, appointment coordination, accurate record keeping, database management, communication and administrative follow-up. It also works closely with the Placements Administration Officer to support crisis accommodation requests, refuge referrals, client assessments and transport arrangements.

Selection Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, or current study, in human services, social work, psychology or a related discipline, with qualifications in business administration or domestic and family violence highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role, preferably within intake, client-facing or community services, with the ability to manage referrals and maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Knowledge of domestic, family and sexual violence, its impacts on women and children, relevant legislation and trauma-informed practice.
  • Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and engage professionally with clients, team members and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency using databases, Microsoft Office 365 and communication tools, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a responsive team environment.

Note: it is a requirement of the role that the successful applicant holds a current Working with Children Blue Card and Queensland Driver’s Licence for the duration of employment.
