About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to join The Banyans as an Enrolled Nurse in a role that is as meaningful as it is unique. Whether you’re looking for permanent part-time stability or casual flexibility, we have positions available to suit, with a rotating roster that includes overnight shifts.
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to guests navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. If you find genuine joy and pride in making a difference to people in need, this is the role for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to guests across a range of presentations including mental health, addiction, trauma, and eating disorders
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor guest progress and report any changes to the supervising Registered Nurse
- Assist with guest assessments and contribute to individualised care plans
- Provide compassionate emotional support to guests and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional recovery outcomes
- Uphold all healthcare regulations, standards, and The Banyans’ commitment to excellence
What You’ll Bring
- Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for person-centred care in a mental health or wellness setting
- Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgement
- The ability to work calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Availability to work a rotating roster including overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- A valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Current or willingness to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certificates
