Based in Darwin with regular travel to Wadeye.
The Program Manager – NDIS Services is responsible for the leadership, management, implementation and continuous improvement of the NDIS service portfolio, including:
- Remote Community Connectors (RCC)
- Coordination of Supports (COS)
- Ability Services
The role ensures people living with disability, their families and carers in Wadeye, Palumpa and Peppimenarti communities have equitable access to high-quality, culturally safe and person-centred NDIS supports.
The Program Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the RCC contract, achievement of contractual KPIs, financial performance, compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and the development of a skilled workforce that supports participants to increase their independence, exercise choice and control, and participate socially and economically within their communities.
About You
- Qualifications in disability services, ATSI health services, human services, community welfare and/or social work are desired.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role working with NDIS and/or RCC.
- Strong knowledge of NDIS programs, funding arrangements, Practice Standards and participant-centred service delivery.
- Understanding of barriers faced by people living with disability in remote Aboriginal communities.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets and service performance.
