We are commencing a new project at the Karara Mine in Western Australia’s Mid-West and are seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our operations team for the construction of a dry tailings dam.

We are seeking experienced Heavy Plant Operators for an immediate start. These are permanent full-time positions offering ongoing employment with Terra Mining.

Plant Operator Opportunities

We are seeking operators with demonstrated experience operating one or more of the following:

– CAT 777 Haul Trucks

– CAT D10 Dozers

– CAT 992 Loaders

– CAT 14M Graders

– Moxy Water Carts

At this point in time, operator traineeships are NOT on offer.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for experienced operators who take pride in their work, work effectively as part of a team and maintain a strong commitment to safety.

You must also have:

– You must have a minimum of 12 months’ relevant operating experience in mining, tailings construction or civil earthworks.

– Relevant current RII operating competencies are preferred.

– Applicants without the required RII may be required to complete a practical assessment and competency verification prior to mobilisation.

– Current Australian driver’s licence.

– Full Australian working rights. (Please note there is no visa support provided for this project)

– A positive attitude towards safety, teamwork and operational standards

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants must be able to:

– Complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening

– Provide a current National Police Clearance issued within the previous 12 months

– Meet all project and site mobilisation requirements

Due to project respiratory protection requirements, personnel must be clean-shaven where required to achieve an effective respirator seal.
