SYOS is growing, and we’re in the middle of a big recruitment push across our engineering, manufacturing, software and operations teams. We’re looking for a Recruiter to join us for 3 months, starting ASAP, working closely with our Recruitment Lead to help keep the hiring engine moving.

This is an onsite role in Mount Maunganui, with some flexibility to work from home. You’ll support recruitment across both NZ and the UK, so there is flexibility around working hours, including the option to start later and finish later to align with UK recruitment operations. Expect plenty of variety, fun, startup energy and the chance to make a genuine impact.

What you’ll get stuck into

• Supporting a high-volume recruitment drive across technical and operational roles
• Sourcing, screening and engaging candidates
• Coordinating interviews and keeping the process moving
• Working with our new recruitment systems and helping us improve how they’re used
• Supporting process improvements and finding smarter ways to keep recruitment moving
• Writing clear, engaging candidate communications and helping deliver a great candidate experience
• Scheduling interviews across multiple time zones.
• Working closely with hiring managers and the wider team to keep everyone on track

You’ll probably fit right in if you’re

• An experienced Recruiter who knows how to get things moving
• Quick to pick up new systems and comfortable figuring things out as you go
• Organised, proactive and happy juggling multiple priorities
• A good writer who can make candidate communication clear, human and engaging
• A team player with good energy and continuous improvement mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change
• A little creative – just because.

Employment Hero experience is a bonus. We’ve recently implemented the system and are looking to build out more automated recruitment processes, so someone who is systems-savvy, organised and enjoys making processes work better will fit in well.
