Sync Lift Engineering is seeking experienced Riggers and Trade Assistants to join our growing team in Gladstone, QLD.

We have a strong pipeline of local work across both site-based projects and workshop activities, providing opportunities for experienced personnel looking for ongoing work while remaining local to the Gladstone region.

The Opportunities

• Intermediate Riggers
• Advanced Riggers
• Experienced Trade Assistants

Depending on your experience and qualifications, work may include:

• Rigging, lifting and installation activities
• Assisting with equipment and component change-outs
• Supporting Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers and other trades
• Installation and removal of mechanical and structural components
• Use of chain blocks, come-alongs and other lifting equipment
• Crane and lifting operations
• Equipment preparation and mobilisation
• Shutdown and planned maintenance activities
• Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
• Working within strict safety and quality requirements

What We’re Looking For

Riggers

• Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence
• Working At Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres Certificates
• Demonstrated experience working within heavy industry
• Strong understanding of lifting operations, rigging equipment and safe work practices
• Experience working alongside cranes and other lifting equipment

Trade Assistants

• Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant within a mechanical, fabrication or heavy industrial environment
• Working At Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres Certificates
• Experience supporting Mechanical Fitters and/or Boilermakers highly regarded
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools
• Dogging, Forklift or EWP licences will be highly regarded
