About the Role – Afternoon Pick Packer
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Afternoon Pick Packer to join our warehouse team. This role involves efficiently picking and packing dry, chilled, and frozen goods while maintaining accuracy and care.
Shift:
Afternoon Shift – Sunday to Friday, 4:00pm – 12:00am (5 days per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Pick customer orders accurately from designated warehouse locations
Pack orders safely and securely according to company guidelines
Assist in unloading goods received into the warehouse
Check incoming stock against purchase orders and report discrepancies to the Stock Controller
Move stock within the warehouse and replenish shelves as required
Ensure safe handling and stacking of goods, especially bulk items
Update stock movements using RF scanners or voice pick systems
Load orders for dispatch when required
Report low or out-of-stock items to the Logistics Manager and Stock Controller
Participate in routine stocktakes and inventory checks
Monitor expiry dates and report any items nearing end of life
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

About You
Strong attention to detail
Physically fit and able to lift/carry up to 25kg and perform repetitive walking, standing, bending, and lifting
2–3 years previous warehouse experience (preferred)
Experience with Voice Picking and RF Scanning
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow company procedures, knowing when to escalate issues
