About the role

We are seeking calm, reliable and experienced Support Workers who have experience in SPC Catheter and Stoma care. This role supports participants with complex needs, requiring consistency, structure and a proactive approach.

 

The successful candidates will be required to work Active Overnights, Afternoon/Evenings and Day Shifts on premise at the participant homes.

07:00am – 15:00pm

15:00pm – 22:00pm

22:00pm – 0700am

 

The role includes

• 1:1 and 1:2 support in home and community

• Assistance with all daily living tasks including High Level Personal Care i.e. showering, toileting, changes of incontinence aids

• SPC Catheter Care

• Stoma Care

• Support community access (shopping, outings, drives)

• Follow a structured routine and behaviour support plan

• Use calm, low-arousal and consistent support strategies

 

About the participants

• The participants within this house have a range of high level needs including Stoma Care, Catheter Care, Full Personal Care.

• The participants within this house range from verbal to non verbal, Stoma, Catheter, Dementia, Parkinsons and mobility issues.

 

About you

• Experience with behaviours / high support needs (essential)

• Calm, patient and emotionally regulated

• Experience with SPC Catheter

• Experience in Stoma Care

• Confident working independently in a 1:1 and 1:2 setting

• Consistent, reliable and able to follow routines

• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
