DANS In Home Care is a trusted, community‑based provider supporting people across the Dubbo region to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple Full-Time Aged / Disability Care Workers to join our dedicated team.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role for caring professionals who are passionate about supporting older people and people with disability in the community.
About the Role
As an Aged / Disability Care Worker, you will provide person‑centred in‑home support to clients across Dubbo and surrounding areas. The role requires travel between client homes.
In line with ANZSCO 423111 – Aged or Disabled Carer, your key duties will include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities
- Supporting client mobility and physical assistance where required
- Preparing meals and providing general household assistance
- Providing companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
- Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings
About You
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
(Part-time or casual experience of at least 20 hours per week will be considered)
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, reliable approach to care
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and organisational policies
