This is a rewarding, hands-on role for caring professionals who are passionate about supporting older people and people with disability in the community.

About the Role

As an Aged / Disability Care Worker, you will provide person‑centred in‑home support to clients across Dubbo and surrounding areas. The role requires travel between client homes.

In line with ANZSCO 423111 – Aged or Disabled Carer, your key duties will include:

  1. Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities
  2. Supporting client mobility and physical assistance where required
  3. Preparing meals and providing general household assistance
  4. Providing companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
  5. Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings

About You

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
    (Part-time or casual experience of at least 20 hours per week will be considered)
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, reliable approach to care
  • Ability to work independently while following care plans and organisational policies
