Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Assist clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Encourage and support clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or condition.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in disability support.
• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with individuals with autism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient approach to care.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
