About the opportunity
Sullivans Cove Distillery is seeking a Private Client
Manager to build and manage relationships with a select portfolio of
collectors, high-value clients, and whisky enthusiasts. This is not a
traditional sales role. It is an opportunity to represent one of the world’s
most awarded single malt whisky brands through storytelling, experience, and
deeply personalised client engagement. You will play a key role in shaping how
our most valued clients experience the brand, from exclusive releases and
allocations through to bespoke tastings and private events.
The role
You will develop and manage relationships with high-value
private clients and collectors, curate and host exclusive tastings, events, and
brand experiences, manage allocation and release of limited and rare whisky
expressions, act as a trusted advisor to clients on their whisky journey,
partner with internal teams across brand, production, and visitor experience,
and identify and grow new high-net-worth client opportunities.
About you
We’re looking for someone who naturally builds trust,
creates memorable experiences, and understands premium positioning. You may
come from luxury spirits (brand ambassador, advocacy, prestige sales), fine
wine or premium beverage, high-end hospitality or private client roles, or
luxury brands such as automotive, hotels, or private membership environments.
You will bring proven experience working with premium or luxury clients,
exceptional communication and storytelling ability, confidence hosting events,
tastings, and one-to-one experiences, a strong understanding of
relationship-led sales rather than transactional selling, commercial awareness
with a highly personalised approach, and a passion for whisky or a genuine
interest in premium spirits.
You will ideally already be connected within luxury and
high-net-worth client environments, with an ability to leverage those
relationships to grow a curated private client portfolio.
